Bradford Learning Associates offers focused educational programs designed to help students strengthen academic skills, develop effective learning strategies, build confidence, and prepare for future success.
Through the BLA Guided Learning Approach™, students receive structured instruction, educational coaching, accountability, and carefully selected learning resources designed to help them become more confident and independent learners.
BLA currently offers programs in GED preparation, Reading and Language Arts, Mathematics, and Executive Function Leadership.

Ages 16+
The BLA GED Success Intensive™ combines high-quality online GED preparation with personalized educational coaching, accountability, and student success planning.
Students receive access to Essential Education's GED Academy, an adaptive online learning program providing individualized instruction in:
Reasoning Through Language Arts
Mathematical Reasoning
Science
Social Studies
Students also participate in six 60-minute Saturday BLA coaching sessions during their cohort.
BLA coaching helps students monitor progress, develop effective study routines, identify areas requiring additional practice, set weekly goals, build confidence, and determine when they may be ready for GED testing.
Students should plan to complete at least two hours of independent GED Academy study each week between coaching sessions.
New cohorts begin throughout the academic year in September, October, November, January, February, March, and April.

Grades 4–12
The Reading & Language Arts Success Intensive™ helps students strengthen literacy skills through focused instruction, guided practice, and educational coaching.
Students may work on skills including reading comprehension, vocabulary, inference, critical thinking, written response, language conventions, and academic reading strategies.
The goal is not simply to complete reading assignments. Students develop strategies they can continue using across subjects and future coursework.

Grades 4–12
The Math Success Intensive™ helps students strengthen mathematical understanding while building confidence and independent problem-solving skills.
Students may work on number sense, fractions, decimals, percentages, algebraic concepts, mathematical reasoning, multi-step problems, calculator strategies, and test preparation.
Rather than focusing only on getting the correct answer, BLA helps students understand concepts, identify appropriate strategies, and explain their mathematical thinking.

The BLA Executive Function Leadership Institute™ helps students strengthen the practical skills needed to successfully manage school, responsibilities, goals, and future opportunities.
